Clive in Tirol: Wishing for snow

On the outskirts of the town of Hall, I join a hike up the mountains hopeful of a bit of snow. There a few flakes in the air and as I get a bit higher, a smattering of snow on the trees. I’m a bit old fashioned and want to feel it crunching under my boots but today is not my day. I can see snow on the summits but I haven’t got the time (and I’m definitely not fit enough) to get to the top of the peaks. Nevertheless it’s still very beautiful and a wonderful way to stretch my legs.
