Clive Goes Hiking in Tuscany 11

A beautiful walk today as we head towards Bolgheri, an amazing (and very small) wine region in Tuscany. Jackie, our Hedonistic Hiking tour leader has been regaling us with wine stories of vineyards being financed by fortunes won by a race horse, fabulous wines selling in local restaurants at almost 300 euros a bottle and a local delicacy of pappardelle (broad strips of pasta) with a meaty wild boar sauce. I can’t wait for lunch!
