Fair Stood the Wind for France
For the last two nights of my motorhome adventure I’m staying at the Chatsworth Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Site. It’s pouring with rain when I arrive and stays like that for most of the afternoon. About 6.00pm the sun finds a chink in the clouds and forces its way through. Shoes on, I dash out into the park, camera in hand, to try and get a few pictures of the house before I lose the light. I make it in time but as usual there’s a price to pay. The storm clouds take over and on my return dash, I get caught in “no man’s land” as the heavens open. When I say caught, I mean really caught. I tuck the camera into my jacket and get a thorough soaking. The motorhome is warm and dry and I’m soon able to laugh about it - well sort of. I’m not complaining, that’s April showers for you.
