Clive's Countryside Blog: Feb 17th

Mid February and the snowdrops are about at their best - a couple of weeks more and they’ll be on the turn. I heard a lawnmower revving up in the village at the weekend. There’s always someone trying to shame the rest of us for being a bit tardy. Me, I haven’t even cleaned the mower since I put it away at the end of last season. If the mower revver was looking to score points, he has, I’m one-nil down. But I’ll bounce back! I’m loving the warm weather, winter somehow seems shorter already.
