Clive in Arizona: Day 3

From Winslow it’s an easy 60 mile drive to the Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert - simply stunning. Just when you thought that you understood nature something like this throws you a curved ball. So amazing and hard to understand but so very beautiful at the same time. I’ve got a long run to Monument Valley in the afternoon, I soon stop for petrol and a customer confuses me with Bill Clinton. No, he has a fleet of cars and I’m driving a rental. He has a team of people catering to his every whim and I’m heating my own sausage roll in the garage microwave
