Switzerland Tourism: Swiss Food

Switzerland is famous for its stunning mountain scenery, which is perfect for tourists in snow or summer sun, but it should also be better known for its food.

Every region of Switzerland has its own distinctive dishes and we found out a bit more about them the other night at a Switzerland Tourism presentation to journalists.

It’s a tough job but someone has to do it on behalf of Choice readers!

Famous Swiss chef Anton Mosimann produced the two dishes pictured – a veal in creamy sauce and river trout on a vegetable risotto. Both were completely delicious.

 

We are planning an article on a culinary tour of the Swiss regions and if these dishes are anything to go by it will be an epic journey.
